Hide and Seek…
For the Christmas Windows of Weber Schmuck at Tegernsee, I developed and created a series of sculptural window installations in which jewellery and object became part of one composition.
Handcrafted, organic sculptures formed small landscapes in which the jewellery was not traditionally displayed, but playfully integrated - almost like a visual treasure hunt. Rings, necklaces and other pieces appeared to grow out of the forms or became part of the sculptures themselves, waiting to be discovered within the installation.
Each window explored a different colour world of beige, yellow and red. Shapes and colours were created around the selected jewellery, forming a deliberate contrast between the handcrafted, organic materiality of the sculptures and the precision and refinement of the pieces.
The result was a contemporary and artistic interpretation of a classic Christmas window — minimal yet luxurious, with the jewellery becoming a natural part of its own sculptural world
